STAUNTON, Va. – Federated Auto Parts recently presented Outstanding Supplier Support Awards to companies that demonstrated excellent performance in each of six categories in 2008. The awards were presented April 30 at Federated’s annual meeting held in Tampa, Fla.

“Every year, Federated honors companies that achieve excellence in categories that our members feel are essential to their overall success,” said Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts. “This year, we are honored to recognize these great partners for their outstanding performance in 2008.”

The winners of this year's Outstanding Supplier Support Awards are:
·    Order Fill Vendor of the Year – EMPI
·    Education/Training Vendor of the Year – Standard Motor Products
·    Marketing Vendor of the Year – KYB
·    Sales Representation Vendor of the Year – Federal-Mogul
·    Electronic Catalog Vendor of the Year – Dorman
·    Outstanding Co-Man Vendor of the Year – GMB

Standard Motor Products was also selected as Federated’s overall Outstanding Vendor of the Year for 2008.
