CHICAGO -- Littelfuse has been named one of “The Most Trustworthy Companies” in America by Forbes magazine.

The third-annual listing, compiled for Forbes.com by Audit Integrity, an independent financial analytics company, looked beyond the raw data included on the income statements and balance sheets of more than 8,000 public companies to assess the true quality of a corporation’s accounting and management practices. The companies included on the listing are recognized for their transparent and conservative accounting practices and solid corporate governance and management.

“Since Littelfuse’s founding over 80 years ago, we have relied on our stringent ethical standards and commitment to sound corporate governance to guide the company’s day-to-day operations and long-term strategies. We are honored to be recognized for our high standards by Forbes.com,” said Gordon Hunter, chief executive officer.
