GRANDVIEW, Mo. -- Peterson Manufacturing Co. is growing its list of global trading partners with its line ECE-compliant vehicle safety lights. Most recently, Peterson added Europe to the list of international trade partners supplying PM-brand lights for the commercial vehicle market -- joining Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, South America and Central America.

Peterson this week announced a new partnership with the U.K. firm of Ivaris Ltd., trading as Peterson Europe. Operating from a modern sales/distribution facility in the south of England, Peterson Europe will market Peterson's full ECE product line throughout the U.K., while setting up other major distributors to handle the line in more than two dozen European countries.

"We are proud to partner with Peterson Europe in expanding our global coverage," said Peterson President and CEO, Don Armacost, Jr. "They are seasoned European market professionals who understand our product range and believe in the benefits of LED lighting for on- and off-road vehicles. Customers can expect excellent service in every aspect, from product application advice to timely delivery of orders."

A 2009 catalog just released by Peterson Europe details the wide range of LED lighting products comprising the ECE line. Featuring leading-edge design, quality and optical brilliance, each product is ECE-approved for the European commercial vehicle market. The new catalog is available through Peterson Europe reps as well as on Peterson's website, www.petersoneurope.co.uk.

According to James Gage, manager of International Sales for Peterson, commercial vehicle makers are the primary focus for European sales. "Our ECE line features Piranha and Great White LED lights for every commercial application," said Gage. "OEMs looking for proven performance, reliability and value will find them a great choice for their vehicles."

In addition to targeting OEMs, Peterson Europe in the U.K. and European distributors they establish will also be promoting Peterson's ECE line to the retail aftermarket. Customers there will see the same Peterson-brand packaging, plan-a-grams, in-store signage and other merchandising materials so familiar in U.S. markets.

"With our partners at Peterson Europe, we look forward to building the Peterson brand with customers all over the continent," added Gage.
