Bridgestone Corp. said it plans to invest $98 million in an east China plant to expand its capacity.
The investment, scheduled to start in the second half of 2011, will enable the plant in the city of Wuxi to make an additional 4,200 tires per day, increasing its total daily capacity to 12,000 tires, according to Bridgestone. (
