GASTONIA, N.C. -- WIX Filters has issued its new 2009 Passenger Car/Light Truck Application Catalog and the Interchange and Product Numeric Catalogs.

The 496 page WIX Filters’ 2009 Passenger Car/Light Truck Application Catalog covers all passenger car and light models from 1985 through 2009 for oil, air, cabin air, fuel and transmission filters. WIX has increased its cabin air filter count by 37 percent in the past year, from 120 to 164 SKUs. The catalogs also feature a cabin air locator guide to assist technicians in finding these sometimes hard to locate filters. The 2009 Passenger Car/Light Truck Application Catalog also includes comprehensive listings for motorcycles and ATVs.
           
Across 680 pages, the WIX Filters Interchange and Product Numeric Catalog covers new products, interchanges, and a complete listing of all 4,400 WIX Filters products with dimensions, thread sizes, gasket information and an application summary.
       
The new product section features 528 new or proposed SKUs that have been introduced or will be introduced in this coming year, and more than 8,300 new interchanges from the 2008 catalog. New products include a series of fuel dispensing filters and bases, which are compatible with ethanol blended fuels and most bio-diesel. Also featured is a new line of universal style in-line fuel filters designed for use with both gasoline or diesel fuel. These fuel filters have three adjustable line sizes: 1/4", 5/19" and 3/8", which make them perfect for lawn mowers and other small engine applications.
