LONG BEACH, Calif. – DENSO Sales California has announced the launch of its new Platinum TT (Twin- Tip) spark plug, designed to help improve fuel efficiency and performance, as compared to conventional single-tipped platinum sparkplugs. DENSO’s new platinum TT spark plug is presently available only at Advance Auto Parts stores.

“DENSO’s new Platinum TT spark plug features an exciting new twin-tip design that is a DENSO-exclusive, patent-pending technology,” said Richard Shiozaki, senior vice president, DENSO Sales California. “This twin-tip design produces better firing, which improves fuel economy compared to a conventional or ordinary single platinum spark plug”.

Positioned between DENSO’s U-Groove and Double Platinum spark plug line, the Platinum TT plug offers new ground-breaking design technology at a very competitive price. In addition, the unique twin-tip design includes a Titanium alloy for added strength and durability.

DENSO currently offers 13 Platinum TT spark plug part numbers covering more than 90 percent of all vehicles in the U.S.
