PITTSBURGH -- Signal Extraprise Corporation congratulates ASA Tire Systems on the company’s grass roots initiative to bring information technology to tire dealers during a period of economic challenge.

In the spirit of industry cooperation, Signal Extraprise has announced a similar program, offering a fund of $1 Million to assist tire dealers in upgrading their technology at a time when it is more imperative than ever to operate most efficiently and grow their businesses. Dealers do not need to be Signal Extraprise users today in order to take advantage of these non-repayable grants.

Kevin Miko, COO of Pittsburgh-based Signal Extraprise said, “Our actions are a precedent setting instance of the two leading IT suppliers in the tire and auto aftermarket working in parallel for the good of the industry.”

Miko added it shows the type of spirit that Americans have always been able to invoke to get through and overcome difficulties.

Miko is calling on other IT players in the industry to respond in like manner so that dealers can benefit from these new technologies without having to pick from just ASA Tire Systems and Signal Extraprise.
