HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. -- The Leadership Development Network (LDN) will once again hold its annual Fun Walk & Run during the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association Spring Leadership Days in Huntington Beach, Calif. The LDN Fun Walk & Run will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 23.
Funds raised for the Fun Walk & Run will go toward automotive scholarships through the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) scholarship program. Generous support from companies in the aftermarket industry allows LDN the ability to continue the tradition of encouraging individuals, through education, to enter and stay in the automotive aftermarket industry.
"Current economic conditions make it tough on our entire industry, but believing that our industry will emerge stronger in the future means that we have to commit to individuals who can lead it,” said LDN Chairman Ted Hughes, MAHLE Clevite Inc. “These donations enable aftermarket students to continue their education and lead them closer to a positive impact in the aftermarket."
All Leadership Days attendees are welcome to attend and a free t-shirt will be provided to all participants at the completion of the event.
