Ringing in the New Year not only symbolizes a fresh start to the calendar year. For many, it becomes a way to make a fresh start with personal goals as well. In honor of the new year, aftermarketNews wanted to find out what your New Year’s resolution is for 2009. Whether you want to tighten the belt on your waistband or your wallet, the most popular choices this year were to cut back in some way. Of the options we offered up, 50 percent of survey respondents said they want to reduce debt; and 22 percent said they want to lose weight. Saving money and working more tied at 5.5 percent each, but we’re left curious to wonder what  those“other” resolutions are that 17 percent of respondents are opting for.
