CHANTILLY, Va. -- Dennis Jacinto of Lester Catalog in Newcastle, Calif., will serve as the treasurer of the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) for 2008-2009.
As treasurer, Jacinto will serve as a member of APRA’s executive committee and will become chairman of APRA in 2011-2012.
Jacinto took over Lester Catalog Co. in 1997 and was able to revitalize the numbering system and bring the data up-to-date. He has been involved in the remanufacturing industry since 1977, when he went to work for F.E.M.S.A of America. In 1984, he started Component Parts Co., which he sold in 1999 to Romaine Electric of Seattle, Wash.
Jacinto stated after his election to treasurer, “It is a real honor to serve the remanufacturing industry and help move APRA to new levels of member service.”
