CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – Delmar, a part of automotive training and information provider Cengage Learning, has released its new Comprehensive Skill Assessment Tool-All-in-One Automotive Assessment.

The online Comprehensive Skill Assessment Tool- All-in-One Automotive Assessment helps instructors and managers implement the necessary training programs to address areas needing improvement. As an All-In-One comprehensive assessment, it contains questions covering eight (A1-A8) of the core automotive areas in one product. Topics such as engine repair, automatic transmissions and transaxles, manual drivetrain and axles, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical/electronic systems, heating and air conditioning and engine performance are included.

Within each key topic, three strategic learning areas are measured: theory, hands-on application knowledge and diagnostic skills. Areas of strength and those needing improvement are identified. The combined phases of education and training, and post-assessment allow instructors to track skill level growth and target specific subjects and skills needing development.

"With questions written and reviewed by ASE master certified industry experts, this product offers a true opportunity to address the learning needs of any organization," said Kristen Davis, director of Professional Transportation Industry Learning Solutions for Delmar.
