FONTANA, CA --
Kumho Tire USA announced that it will increase tire prices, effective May 1. Passenger, light truck and commercial truck tire prices will increase between 3%-5%, depending on the tire model, according to Kumho.
Continuing price increases for raw materials and rising shipping costs were cited by David Hudrlik, vice president and director of sales for Kumho, as reasons for the price hike. The last time the tiremaker raised prices was in November 2003.
