LAS VEGAS -- John Wiedemann has been appointed president of JS Products, Inc., which supplies precision-engineered specialty tools and equipment to the professional automotive, back shop, OEM and retail markets.

Prior to joining JS Products, Wiedemann served as vice president, president and COO­ with Actron Manufacturing in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to his tenure at Actron, he was employed for 17 years by The Stanley Works, a leading global manufacturer and marketer of tools, hardware and specialty hardware for the home improvement, consumer and industrial markets and professional users. He had a variety of manufacturing responsibilities within the company's Stanley Tools and Mac Tools divisions, including vice president of manufacturing and product development. He was vice president of marketing for the Mac Tools division when he left Stanley to join Actron in 1998.

Effective immediately, Wiedemann will direct global sales activities, marketing and operations for JS Products.
