HYDE PARK, NY --
Automotive paint shop chain Earl Scheib Inc. has been sold to Elden Holding Group LLC for $17 million in cash. Elden Holding Group is a California-based real estate investment firm.
According to a report in from the Detroit Free Press, Earl Scheib has been looking for outside buyers since May 2003. The company was founded in 1937 and today operates 113 shops throughout the U.S.
