Beck/Arnley Announces New Part Numbers
June 30, 2004
|

SMYRNA, TN -- Beck/Arnley has added 491 new part numbers to its product line, according to Max Dull, vice president and general manager of Beck/Arnley.

“Beck/Arnley made a commitment to the industry that it would reclaim its previous status of always being first-to-market with foreign nameplate car parts,” said Dull. “These new part numbers are the first step in the process. We are thrilled to say that by the end of the year, Beck/Arnley will have introduced well over 1,000 new part numbers to its product line.”

In addition to the new part numbers, Beck/Arnley has increased its carry-up coverage through a research process that identifies later model applications that use the same parts as earlier model applications.

“This is tremendous because just in the month of June alone, we have identified 3,095 new opportunities for our customers to sell the parts that they already have in their inventory,” said Dull. “The additional carry-up coverage now brings Beck/Arnley applications up to the 2003 and 2004 model years."

The new numbers fall within the following Beck/Arnley product modules:

• 214 Brake and Chassis (50 ceramic brake pads)
• 131 Engine Parts & Filtration
• 84 Engine Management
• 32 Electrical (New Distributors)
• 26 Clutch and Driveline
• 4 Cooling
