CHICAGO -- UGN, Inc., a supplier of acoustic, interior trim and thermal management products to the automotive industry, has promoted Douglas Black to vice president of finance. In his new position, Black will be an officer of UGN with full responsibility for the financial component of the UGN business model.

Black joined UGN last year as a corporate controller where he oversaw UGN's accounting, budgeting, cash management and financial reporting. Prior to joining UGN, Black held management positions at Fort Dearborn Partners, A.T. Kearney and Rand McNalley & Co. He also has accounting experience with Deloitte & Touche. He is a certified public accountant.
