Johnson Controls Appoints New VP in its Automotive Business

PLYMOUTH, MI -- Johnson Controls recently announced the appointment of Michael Bartschat as group vice president of purchasing and supply chain logistics - Automotive Group. In this position, he will lead the company's purchasing activities in the Automotive Group on a global basis.

Most recently, Bartschat served as vice president, business transformation at Honeywell Inc. Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). Prior to that, he was the vice president of global sourcing for Honeywell ACS, director of supply chain management and plant manager. Bartschat joined Honeywell in 1996.

In his new role, Bartschat will report to Keith Wandell, president of the Automotive Group of Johnson Controls.
