University of Aftermarket Founder Lou Zuanich Dies

EVERETT, WA -- Lou Zuanich, AAP, founder of the University of the Aftermarket and president emeritus of the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA), passed away Feb. 20 at home after a long illness.

Zuanich joined AWDA as one of its training instructors in 1976, eventually going on to found the University of the Aftermarket professional development program. He retired as president of AWDA and Martin Fromm and Associates, the association management firm, in 1993. He was honored with the AWDA Memorial Scholarship award in 1997.

The funeral is scheduled for today at Immaculate Conception Church,2501 Hoyt Ave., Everett, Wa., 98201.
