ALSIP, IL -- Universal Automotive Industries has hired a financial consulting firm to assist the company in returning to profitability.

The company has hired The Parkland Group, a Cleveland, Ohio-based turnaround specialist focusing on mid-sized manufacturing and distribution companies. The Parkland Group will assist Universal in addressing its immediate liquidity challenges, as well as identifying additional operational savings. The company is currently exploring opportunities to improve its revenue and return to profitability.

This news follows on the heels of the announcement the company made in January that it had hired Elite Financial Communications Group, a financial communications, investor relations and strategic resourcing firm, to assist in the launch of a new market awareness campaign.
