TROY, MI -- Honeywell Friction Materials has launched a free brake pad promotion for repair shops. From now until June 30, by registering online at www.bendixbrakes.com, participants can receive a free set of Bendix premium blue box brake pads.

According to the manufacturer, the new Bendix pads feature premium friction formulas that offer 79 percent less noise, 28 percent less dust and better performance. Key products in the line also include a completely reformulated blue titanium coating that helps accelerate the burnishing process under normal driving conditions. All pads in the line are engineered from a rigorous OE material development program and offer integrally molded attachments, high quality shims and noise-dampening slots and chamfers.

After registering online, shops can expect to be contacted by a Bendix sales representative or parts distributor, who will then set up a meeting to introduce the new Bendix premium products and arrange for delivery of the free pads. During this promotion, each shop that signs up can choose one set of pads from select TitaniuMetallic II model numbers including: MKD369; MKD652; MKD699; MKD601; MKD477; MKD727; MKD205 or MKD215.
