NORTHVILLE, MI -- Hayes Lemmerz International has appointed Christine Sweda to the position of director of taxes, reporting to James Yost, vice president - finance and CFO.

Sweda comes to Hayes Lemmerz from ArvinMeritor where she served as director of domestic tax. Prior to her seven-year tenure at ArvinMeritor, Sweda worked as a tax manager for T&N Industries Inc., and in various positions at Arthur Andersen LLP.
