NEW HAVEN, CT --
IWD unveiled its new Information Management System (IMS) to the Auto Pride and Truck Pride memberships during its 2005 Annual Meeting held on March 30 - April 2 in Las Vegas.
The new system, being developed by Custom Technology Solutions LLC (CTS) of Houston, Texas, offers capabilities for centralized management, processing, distribution and audits of member purchases and vendor rebates for WD members. The system also has tracking capabilities for the various marketing/rebate programs offered by manufacturers for its membership as well as reconciliation and variance reports based on eligible rebates versus actual rebate disbursements.
The latest IMS release also includes a sub-system which focuses on the rebate discrepancy process. This sub-system includes online management and tracking of all rebate-related issues for individual members and vendors from its inception to closure.
“The new features of the IMS will not only provide our members better controls and visibility during the entire rebate process, but will bring tremendous efficiencies in the timely disbursement and reconciliation of rebate funds to our members,” said Bill Burns, executive vice president, IWD LLC.
