Joe DePaulis Joins AASA as Director of Membership, Services

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC -- Joe DePaulis has joined the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) as the director of membership and services.

In his new position, DePaulis will be responsible for recruiting new members as well as developing and promoting programs and services to existing members. His duties also will include coordinating the activities of AASA’s Small & Medium Manufacturers Council, a group which meets quarterly in Detroit, Mich. and Chicago.

DePaulis also will work with members to promote the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), the annual trade show representing the $250 billion North American retail and service aftermarket co-sponsored by MEMA and AAIA.

“We are pleased to have Joe on our team and is the ideal fit in the growing AASA staff,” said AASA President Paul Foley. “He is well known in the automotive aftermarket and his wealth of experience will be an added benefit to AASA members.”

His experience includes serving as the senior brand manager of NASCAR, where he was responsible for brand development of the racing organization’s identity in the automotive aftermarket. His corporate experience includes NO Touch Products, Armor All Products and NAPA New York.

DePaulis has garnered a number of honors for his work, including the Telly cable awards for his automotive-related television programming. He also has received the International Automotive media award and global design awards in trade advertising.
