MADISON, IN -- Eric Thorstensen has been appointed to the position of director of OEM sales for Grote Industries. Thorstensen comes to Grote from Tomco Tool and Die, Inc. where he held the position of president. Prior to that he held the position of VP of Global Business for Trico Products, Inc.

Grote Industries is a leading designer of vehicle safety systems and is QS-9000, ISO-14001 and TS-16949 certified. Grote products include LED and incandescent lamps, mirrors, obstacle detection systems, electrical accessories, harness systems and reflective accessories. The company is headquartered in Madison, Ind., with other manufacturing plants in Toronto and Waterloo Canada, as well as Monterrey, Mexico.
