SOUTHFIELD, MI --
Lear Corp. today named Douglas DelGrosso as its new president and COO, effective immediately. He will report to Lear Chairman and CEO Bob Rossiter.
DelGrosso began his career with Lear in 1984 as a design engineer and has progressively advanced to positions of increasing responsibility. In 1991, he was promoted to director of product engineering and in 1995, he assumed operating responsibility for the company's GM Division. He also served as president of Lear's DaimlerChrysler division as well as its interior systems and electronics divisions. In 2001, DelGrosso was named executive vice president - international operations. One year later, his duties were expanded to president and COO for all of Lear's operations in Europe, Asia and Africa. Last year, he was named president and COO - The Americas.
