ZURICH --
Swiss engineering group Georg Fischer AG has signed an agreement with Electronic Data Systems Corp. (EDS) over the outsourcing of 2,500 IT jobs in its automotive division.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. The company said it aims to reduce IT costs by 20 percent.
EDS will also operate around 100 servers for Georg Fischer as well as service its IT network.
