East Penn Manufacturing has promoted two of its executives -- Doug Kubinak and Bruce Herman. Kubinak has been promoted to the position of director of sales, branded automotive batteries. Herman has been promoted to the position of national sales manager, branded automotive batteries.
Kubinak will assume responsibility for branch and subsidiary operations, as well as, branded automotive battery sales. In addition, he will be supporting multi-national customers with direct responsibility for certain national accounts.
Kubinak joined East Penn in 1985 as a sales trainee. He graduated from Shippensburg University with a degree in business management. Since then he has been promoted to feeder sales, city salesman, account executive OE sales and to his most recent position of sales manager, private brands, automotive batteries.
Herman, in addition to having regional branch and subsidiary operation responsibility for the Northeast region, will assume overall responsibilities for national account sales for distribution through East Penn’s branch system. Herman and his team will focus their efforts on obtaining new additional business for the company’s extensive branch network.
Herman joined East Penn in 1986 as a sales trainee. He graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in Business Management. Since then, he has been promoted to feeder salesman, route salesman, city salesman, warehouse sales supervisor, assistant sales manager and his most recent position as sales manager.
