Engine Data Source Continues to Grow
July 12, 2005

CHANTILLY, VA -- The Production Engine Remanufacturers Association (PERA) launched their new website enginedatasource.com, at their meeting on April 29, 2005 in Las Vegas.

“Initial response to the site has been excellent,” according to PERA Executive Vice President Bill Gager. “The month of May saw 74,203 hits to the website from 230 visitors. That averages out to about 323 hits per visitor. So you can tell there are some real heavy users on the site,” stated Gager. He added, “It appears that most visitors are looking up applications more than pictures. They also seem to hit the site more on Tuesday than the other days of the week.”

Engine Data Source is a live database allowing user requests as a major feature of development. One of the features has been that users have the ability to generate an up-to-the-minute electronic catalog. Users can choose an OE manufacturer and display an electronic catalog identical in view format to the industry sought after PERA Engine Application and Identification Catalog hard copy.
