MIDLAND, MI -- A former Honeywell division sales manager has been named director of the University of the Aftermarket, effective July 1.

The new University of the Aftermarket director, Jimsey Keith, is a graduate of Northwood University, which administers the University of the Aftermarket.

"As a 1974 graduate of Northwood University and a 29-year aftermarket veteran, Ms. Keith was the ideal candidate for the job," said University College Dean Rhonda Anderson. "She brings an abundance of experience in marketing and sales management to this position."

In addition to her education from Northwood, Keith earned an MBA from Regis University and a BSBA with a major in marketing from the University of Cincinnati.

Keith began her career at Honeywell International in 1976 as a district sales rep. She continued with rapid promotions, next as district manager, zone sales manager, regional sales administrator, business development manager and later region sales director. In 1999, she was named to her most recent position at Honeywell as division sales manager where she managed a $25 million consumer products division for Honeywell's Transportation Group. She was named Salesperson of the Year in 2003.
