CHANTILLY, VA -- Lean Remanufacturing Deployment will be one of the key seminars at the International BIG R Show on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005 in Las Vegas.

Bill Gager, APRA president stated, “About six years ago we started offering Lean Remanufacturing Seminars and over 700 people attended these seminars to learn the basics. It is now time for a more advanced course.”

A team of instructors from the National Center for Remanufacturing and Resource Recovery at the Rochester Institute of Technology will lead the seminar. They will review the importance of Value Stream Mapping and why it serves as a road map for a company’s lean journey. Registrants will learn what is involved in implementing a sustainable 5-S program. They will learn how to break a setup down into four individual tasks and cover techniques to reduce and eliminate unnecessary activities.

Gager added, “This seminar will help you streamline your operation and as a result drop more dollars to your bottom line.”
