MEMPHIS, TN -- Gary August has been named Network Connect program manager at Automotive Distribution Network Headquarters, according to Co-Presidents Mike Kamal and Mike Lambert.

"Gary has a wealth of experience in the technology side of the automotive aftermarket, having worked at all levels in the supply chain,” said Lambert. “He is well known and respected within our membership.”

“The Network is continuing to invest heavily in a wide range of technology related products and services to support our members,” said Kamal. ”Gary’s appointment is the next logical step in our ongoing process.”

In his new position, August’s responsibilities will include serving as liaison between the members and the Network’s Technology initiatives. He has started his training process and will be spending his time in the field assisting with kick-off meetings and installations.

Network Connect is a technology initiative that provides Automotive Distribution Network members and their customer’s a scaleable, cost effective solution for running their business. It also provides them access to a wide range of e-commerce products.

“I am honored to have been named to this new position and look forward to working with the membership,” said August. “Helping the Network achieve its long range IT goals is a challenge I look forward to.”
