MIDLAND, MI -- The University of the Aftermarket will be holding one of its most popular classes, Aftermarket Overview on Sept. 27-28, 2005 in Southfield, MI.

Hosted by Federal-Mogul Corp, the key objective of the 2-day seminar is to provide an industry overview and a "real world" perspective of the issues that impact a warehouse distributor, jobber, retailer and service dealer. The course will feature discussion of aftermarket distribution channels, critical aspects of the WD-jobber-service dealer relationship, as well as WD and retailer relationships. Ways to develop win-win manufacturer/WD and retailer partnerships will be stressed.

The University of the Aftermarket hopes to attract members that are new in the automotive industry, anyone with a new job that requires knowledge of how the Automotive Industry really works and anyone looking for the most up-to-date information available about the Aftermarket.

Some of the topics being discussed are the evolution of the automotive aftermarket, the opportunities and challenges facing the aftermarket, and general manufacturing industry issues. The class also includes a tour of United Automotive Supply Warehouse.
