BROADVIEW, IL -- Bosch has initiated a comprehensive marketing program to support its new line of Premium Oil Filters. The program features catalog listing coverage for 98 percent of domestic and import cars, light trucks and vans, a colorful brochure describing the Bosch oil filter's cutting-edge technology, and eye-catching point-of-purchase (POP) materials including a counter mat, counter card and #10 size pocket brochure.

"The Premium Oil Filter marketing support is designed to promote the quality and excellence behind our premium technology oil filters,” said Rob Backode, product manager, filters for Bosch. "The Bosch premium oil filter program provides new levels of oil filter quality, and should be an important factor in the automotive aftermarket. This marketing support program will help ensure this," Backode said.

In addition, it includes technical information including general instructions for spin-on oil filters, oil pressure warning light problems, over-pressured lube oil filters and oil filter leakage on some diesels. Also included in the catalog are, VIN code identification, footnotes, a buyer’s guide, competitor cross reference, packaging and product specifications.

The sales literature and the POP items underscore the Bosch message of its technology and serviceability, stressing that Bosch's Filtech technology uses an exclusive blend of natural and synthetic materials to screen out harmful contaminants, increase filtration efficiency and provide maximum protection against engine wear throughout the manufacturer’s suggested change interval.

Packaging is another element of marketing support, and the Bosch Premium Oil Filter packaging features a high-impact, brand-related design that communicates key product features and benefits in three languages.

The Bosch Premium Oil Filter series utilizes exclusive Filtech filter material and includes OE style canister filters, environmentally friendly and metal-free cartridge filters and extensive coverage of domestic and import spin-on filters.
