BETHESDA, MD -- Signs are being offered to show support for competition in the vehicle service and repair market. These signs of support, expected to be hung in various exhibitors' AAPEX booths will proclaim: "We Support Right to Repair."

The signs are intended to build recognition and grassroots action by the aftermarket for passage of the Motor Vehicle Owners' Right to Repair Act (H.R. 2048) now under consideration by Congress. H.R. 2048 would require car companies to share with independents the same service information and tools that are available to franchised dealers.

Please include AAPEX booth number and on-site contact person with e-mail. The deadline to order signs is Friday, Oct. 21.
