Ex-Dana Exec Paul Bishop Joins Ice Industries as President, COO

TOLEDO, OH -- Ice Industries, a metal stamping and machining company based in Toledo, OH, has appointed Paul Bishop as president and COO.

Bishop is a well-respected automotive industry executive who spent 16 years with Dana Corp., most recently as president of the $1.5 billion Global Torque Group, a division of Dana's Automotive Systems Group.

Ice Industries provides cost-effective, efficient and collaborative stamping, welding and assembly solutions that allow manufacturers to focus their efforts on their core competencies. In this new role at Ice, Bishop is charged with all aspects of daily operations and will assist in acquisition activities. He reports to Howard Ice.

"Paul Bishop is a proven leader who brings an extraordinary track record, strong relationships and great manufacturing knowledge to Ice Industries," said Mr. Ice. "Paul will be a great asset as Ice Industries continues to expand its business in the automotive and appliance industries, as well as looks to identify new market opportunities."

While at Dana, Bishop held a number of positions, including president of Dana Commercial Credit and vice president of Corporate Planning for Dana Corp. He served as a member of Dana's World Operating Committee since 2000.

Paul graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati with majors in finance and management. He holds a master of business administration, with a concentration in finance, from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Young President's Organization and the Bowling Green State University President's Club. Paul and his family reside in Perrysburg, Ohio.
