Bosch Names Jonietz Vice President, Site Concept Americas

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI -- Bosch has appointed Michael Jonietz to the newly created position of vice president, Site Concept Americas.

In his new position, Jonietz will be responsible for optimizing the company's strategic location concept and the real estate portfolio of the Bosch Group in North and South America. Jonietz will work with all Bosch product divisions, coordinating mid- and long-term facility planning in order to sustain growth targets in both regions.

Jonietz has been with Bosch since 1991. Prior to his current position, Jonietz developed and was responsible for the corporate real estate department's global area management at Bosch headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany. He will now implement the same site concept strategy at the regional level for North and South America.

Prior to joining Bosch, Jonietz was employed as an industrial architect and served as a project team manager at BMW headquarters in Munich, Germany. He graduated from the Technical University of Karlsruhe in Germany with a master's degree in architecture.
