LAS VEGAS --The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) honored Jon Wyly, vice president of Arrow Speed Warehouse with the 2005 Person of the Year Award at the SEMA Show's Industry Awards Banquet in Las Vegas.

"This is a very humbling experience and much appreciated," said Wyly. "It's hard for me to believe that I first sat in this audience 20 years ago and I was thoroughly entranced with all the great people coming up here. I can't stop talking enough about what a pleasure it is to operate in this industry - to meet all these great people and to walk down the halls of the SEMA Show and have to stop every few feet to shake someone's hand is really testament of all the terrific people in this industry."

Created in 1969, the Person of the Year Award honors individuals recognized for their distinguished service to the trade association and the specialty equipment industry.

Wyly is a four-time winner of the SEMA WD (Warehouse Distributor) of the Year Award, with more than 25 years of experience in the specialty equipment industry. He is also the chairman of the SEMA Business Technology Committee and an industry leader in promoting advancement and adoption of technology solutions for the specialty parts business. His company, Arrow Speed Warehouse, has served the specialty equipment industry since 1957.
