CHANTILLY, VA -- During the 60th Annual Convention of the Production Engine Remanufacturers Association (PERA) in Washington, D.C., Bill Bokan was elected Treasurer of the association.

Bokan is president of Bokan Brothers of Sacramento, CA. His firm was started in 1946 by his father and uncle. Bokan began working for them when he was 12 years old. He left the company to get a business degree from Notre Dame and a law degree from the University of San Francisco.

In 1973 he rejoined the family business full-time. He served on the PERA board in the mid-1980’s. He will serve as PERA president in 2007–2008.
