ANN ARBOR, MI -- Aftermarket veteran Don Reimondo has joined Affinia as senior vice president of customer relationship management. His appointment was effective January 9.

“We are delighted to have Don on board with the Affinia team,” said John Washbish, Affinia’s president of customer relationship management and vice president and general manager of its Under Vehicle Group. “Don possesses a unique range of aftermarket experience, bringing with him expertise in sales, operations, distribution, logistics, inventory control and high-level management. His wide array of skills will help us further enhance the Customer Relationship Management philosophy upon which Affinia is built.”

Prior to joining Affinia, Reimondo served as vice president of global distribution, inventory and logistics for Federal-Mogul Corp.

“He’s a seasoned utility player in the aftermarket, but Don really earned his remarkable reputation in field sales,” added Washbish. “He’s a personable man, a keen business leader and a purpose driven individual.”

Spending the majority of his career with Federal-Mogul, Reimondo has served in a variety of high-level positions, including as vice president of North American distribution and commercial vehicle sales, vice president of special market sales and distribution, director of heavy-duty sales, plant manager and operations manager. He began his career with Walker Manufacturing as a territory sales representative in Wichita, KS.

A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Northwood University, Reimondo holds a bachelors of business administration and an associates degree in banking and finance. He also holds an associates arts degree from Jamestown Community College and has completed “Leadership 2010” at AWDA University.

Reimondo has served on the board of directors for five organizations, including his current assignment with the Heavy Duty Distributors Association. Formerly, he was a member of the board for the Council of Fleet Specialists, SELCRA of Livingston County, Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce and Concern for Children of Alabama.
