WHITE PLAINS, NY -- Wrenchead, Inc., a business application provider for WDs, yesterday announced a new partnership agreement with Technologue, Inc., a recognized leader in OEM research for the automotive aftermarket. Wrenchead has agreed to license Technologue’s OEM database for use in Wrenchead products, making this a first for the automotive aftermarket.

According to Stan Gowisnock, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Wrenchead, the combining of aftermarket and OE data will help Wrenchead improve timeliness to the marketplace.

“We’re very excited about this agreement for a number of reasons,” said Gowisnock. “First, our award-winning electronic catalog product, Part Select, is the timeliest in the industry. It’s no secret that new OEM data reaches the marketplace faster than aftermarket data. By combining the two, Wrenchead will improve timeliness to market that much more. With the addition of the OEM data, our customers will have the most current combined OEM and aftermarket application data available anywhere. Not only will we display new part data sooner, our customers can also ensure the correct aftermarket parts are sold reducing the likelihood of returns. In short, we’re using the timeliness of the OEM data to enable our customers to sell more aftermarket parts.”

Gowisnock added, “Nexpart, our e-commerce solution, is enjoying tremendous success and is the number-one ecommerce solution in its field. Adding OEM application data will help our e-commerce customers grow revenue by selling more parts and reducing returns resulting in a competitive advantage in their marketplace.

Nick Porrini, president and CEO of Technologue stated, “We’re pleased to enter into this relationship with a partner that recognizes what the power of OEM data can do for their aftermarket customer base. This will absolutely result in more aftermarket parts being sold, no question. We’re particularly impressed with the future outlook – we live in a world where everyday more and more business is conducted via the web. By having our data be a vital component of Nexpart, we’re looking at a growth curve unlike anything I’ve experienced in my more than 20 years of being in this business.”
