Jim Eady Joins Timken as National Sales Manager - Automotive and Heavy Duty Aftermarket

CANTON, OH -- James “Jim” Eady has been named national sales manager – automotive and heavy-duty aftermarket for Timken Corp. He will be responsible for U.S. planning and strategy.

“Jim is very well known in the industry and he brings with him a broad range of experience and many existing contacts and business relationships,” said Jack Cameron, general manager – automotive aftermarket – North & South America. “We’re excited to have him join our company and the aftermarket team.”

Prior to joining Timken, Eady was the Southeast regional sales manager for Delphi Products and Service Solutions. Previous to Delphi, he served for five years as president of the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA), whose membership is comprised of virtually every major warehouse distributor in the U.S. automotive aftermarket. Before that, Eady held a wide variety of automotive aftermarket sales and management positions during his 19-year career with Federal-Mogul (FM) and TRW (FM acquired TRW aftermarket in 1993).

Eady holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi. He also has Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification and holds the Automobile Aftermarket Professional (AAP) designation from the University of the Aftermarket.
