RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC --
Attendees at the AASA Opening Pitch Reception on May 16, just prior to the start of the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS), will have the opportunity to meet Hall of Famers Brooks Robinson and Al Kaline, in addition to networking with other industry executives.
Organized by the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) and sponsored by Ernst & Young, the event will be hosted at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI. The reception will held at the “Baseball as America” touring exhibit at the museum and will offer members a chance to view baseball memorabilia and meet legendary players Robinson and Kaline.
Both players were inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in the 1980s. Their careers spanned much of the 1950s and 1970s Robinson as the “Human Vacuum Cleaner” third baseman for the Baltimore Orioles, and Kaline who had 242 consecutive errorless games in the outfield as the Detroit Tigers’ right fielder.
The 11th annual GAAS program will be held Wednesday and Thursday, May 17-18, at the Dearborn Hyatt.
Registration details for GAAS are available at: www.globalsymposium.org.
