This latest generation of icarz’s successful eStore solutions adds enhanced connectivity and usability requested by its eStore customers.

According to icarz, the new ecommerce service features improved connectivity features include integration with Activant’s AconneX Internet-based auto parts trading solution, integration with icarz systems and integration with other open systems. PartsWize also integrates icarz’ SmartLink capability, a system that provides links by part number to manufacturer’s web-based catalogs.

In addition, PartsWize includes customer-demanded usability features like vehicle lookup by VIN, the ability to save a pre-defined shopping cart for later use, viewing and printing vehicle specifications online, searching for parts using layman’s terms, ordering directly from the interchange popup window, the looking up of open and finalized invoices by invoice number or date range and enhanced reporting.
