DALLAS, TX --
I-CAR, a leading collision repair training company, will develop, plan and implement eight clinics to be offered on the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) show floor in the I-CAR Technology Showcase.
“Who better than the industry’s training leader to run these clinics? Having the I-CAR name associated with on-floor education will lend tremendous credibility to these clinics and promote increased attendance,” said Dana Teague, NACE senior show director.
I-CAR (the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair) is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to training the collision industry. The I-CAR Vision is that every person in the collision industry has the necessary technical knowledge and skills relevant to their position to achieve a complete and safe repair.
“I-CAR is proud to be working closer with NACE for 2006 with expanded training programs and the unveiling of the I-CAR Technology Showcase. During NACE 2006 I-CAR will not only be offering several I-CAR training programs on Wednesday but we will also be adding the availability of I-CAR training programs on Saturday. Also new to NACE 2006 will be the I-CAR Technology Showcase that will provide all NACE attendees an opportunity to attend the eight clinics that will focus on new technology and repair methods,” said I-CAR President and CEO Tom McGee.
In addition to the showcase clinics on the NACE show floor, I-CAR will also be expanding its offerings within the NACE 2006 Conference by scheduling technical training programs on both Wednesday, November 1 and Saturday, November 4. On Wednesday, there will be six programs, three in the morning and three in the afternoon. On Saturday, two morning programs will be offered. Registration for the I-CAR training programs will be available at the NACE website beginning in early July.
NACE 2006 will be held Nov. 1-4, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The educational conference will run from Nov. 1-4 (Wednesday-Saturday), and the exposition will take place Nov. 2-4 (Thursday-Saturday). The event will again be held during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW), taking place that same week in Las Vegas.
