BETHESDA, MD --
Beck/Arnley Worldparts Corp. has agreed to be a sponsor of the 2006 Car Care Council Women’s Board scholarship program. There are eight corporate sponsors of the scholarship thus far.
Scholarships will be awarded to female students who are pursuing education to prepare themselves for a career in the automotive aftermarket. Scholarships are available for post-secondary students who have completed one year at an ASE certified, post-secondary automobile technology program, and high school seniors who plan on attending an ASE certified, post-secondary automobile technology program.
“On behalf of the Women’s Board, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to Beck/Arnley for their extremely generous donation to the scholarship program,” said Katie Noga, president of the Car Care Council’s Women’s Board. “Their support will help increase the pool of talented women completing their education and making a career in the aftermarket.“
