FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany --
ZF Friedrichshafen AG, a supplier of driveline and chassis technology, has named Hans-Georg Haerter as the successor to current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Siegfried Goll.
Haerter will be appointed to the ZF Friedrichshafen AG Board of
Management effective October 1, and will be assigned to the CEO
position effective January 1, 2007. Goll is retiring December 31.
Haerter currently serves as the group executive, powertrain and
suspension components division, ZF Sachs AG. As a member of the ZF Group
Board of Management, he is responsible for operations in the Asia-Pacific
region.
Goll has been CEO of ZF since July 2001.
