PHILADELPHIA --
Pep Boys' eight stores in the Orlando, Daytona Beach and Ocala, FL, areas will celebrate grand re-openings beginning Thursday, June 22. The stores have undergone a significant internal and external transformation as part of the company's strategy to completely refurbish all of its locations across the U.S.
A significant milestone in the company's 85-year legacy, the grand re-openings showcase stores that have been extensively re-merchandised and stocked with new products ranging from power tools and generators to the latest in mobile entertainment and the most-modern automotive repair equipment. A contemporary interior design, which reflects the new red, white and blue Pep Boys corporate colors, includes multimedia displays, dynamic signage and customized areas for new product categories. The store facades and exterior signs have also been updated.
By 2008, Pep Boys plans to complete the refurbishment of substantially all of its 593 stores across the United States and Puerto Rico.
