GenTek Inc., a maker of wastewater treatment chemicals, said Monday it has completed its $25 million acquisition of assets belonging to Precision Engine Products Corp., a division of Stanadyne Corp.
Precision Engine makes automotive parts for auto manufacturers and parts retailers. The company has about 230 employees primarily in Florida and Brazil.
Shares of GenTek rose 17 cents to close at $29.75 on the Nasdaq.
