LA VERGNE, TN -- Hennessy Industries, one of North American’s largest full-line wheel-service equipment manufacturers, has promoted four employees in its marketing department. Kevin Keefe was promoted to director of marketing, Don Vanderheyden and Andrew Vecci were both promoted to group marketing manager positions overseeing product management and Carol Williams was promoted to commercial marketing coordinator.

“Hennessy has launched several new products in the past year, and we are proud to have a strong department to continue the momentum,” said Executive Vice President Ron Newton. “Our marketing staff has tremendous experience and will be extremely effective in their new roles.”

In Keefe’s new role, he will assume overall leadership for the marketing team. Before joining Hennessy in 2001, he worked at GE Industrial Systems in various marketing and product management roles. Keefe graduated magna cum laude from the University of Connecticut as a marketing major and recently received his MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.

Vanderheyden joined Hennessy as a buyer/planner in February 2001 before moving to marketing as an associate product manager in May 2002. He then spent two years in the sales department as a key account manager. In his new role, Vanderheyden now manages all aspects of his product lines, which include brake lathes and brake lathe accessories, wheel balancers (including heavy duty models), wheel balancer accessories and wheel weights. He received his bachelor’s degree from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA, and his MBA from Vanderbilt University.

Vecci joined Hennessy Industries in 2004 after serving six years at Energes, Inc., as an account manager/consultant. He now has product management responsibilities for Hennessy’s tire changers (including heavy-duty models), tire changer accessories, lifts and alignment. Vecci holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration, finance and economics from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.

Williams recently joined the marketing organization after serving as customer service supervisor for Hennessy. She has worked at Hennessy for 19 years and is responsible for coordinating and executing all commercial activities, including advertising, literature, promotions and incentives, trade shows and public relations.
