TAIPEI, Taiwan --
Rosta International Limited, a leading China-based manufacturer of steel and aluminum wheels for the OEM and aftermarket industries, has announced the start of production of aluminum wheels at its new $100 million (U.S.) Suzhou Yuan Chen Alloy Wheel Manufacturing Plant in Suzhou, China.
The plant, which has a capacity of five million wheels, supports Rosta's growth in the U.S. and Europe as well as supporting its customers in Asia, according to company Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jerry Huang.
"At a time when the automotive industry is experiencing a serious capacity crunch particularly in the United States, we're pleased to bring
this plant online to support our customers," said Huang. "This plant supports our ability to offer competitively-priced, state-of-the-art aluminum wheel technology to the U.S., European and Asian markets."
In addition to the Suzhou plant, Rosta also has facilities in Fuzhou, China, and Taiwan, Japan.
